RACCAGNI Super R Zipper / Black tape

This is a wonderful store with beautiful zippers and hardware

I bought these because I was looking for an antique copper finish and only Raccagni and YKK (regular) have the color. The YKK one is pure junk (cheap so it was expected). But these were a bit below my expectations. They are basically the same price as Riri zippers but I find the quality on them to be slightly less. Not noticeably less mind you just when I hold the two zipper chains in my hand I can feel the heavier weight of the Riri zipper, whereas these ones I think they are probably not solid brass. The antique copper color is a bit duller than I had hoped, but will work for my projects. The biggest bummer however is that these absolutely WILL NOT work as a two-way zipper (e.g., for bags’ closure where the two pullers meet in the center). One way is very smooth but the other you can feel that you are really stressing the teeth as you pull. So I can only use these on the bags with one way zipper that I plan on making.
