Right part, wrong diagram

Just got my NEW DESIGN 28146-11 Brake Booster Vacuum Pump. Came with diagram for the 28146-3, but it's going directly to the brake booster. Wow, I didn't know it was going to be so heavy. Not sure where to mount it now. I'm concerned whether or not it has the check valve already installed in the short section of vacuum line at pump. Saw it described and shown, but mine doesn't appear to have a clamp or zip tie on the tubing as shown.
