Success from the first attempt!
When I opened the sachet and saw some liquid slashing over the sediments at the bottom, my heart sunk. I've never seen a sourdough starter and didn't know what to expect. I decided to feed it anyway and hope for better. Glad did just that. Even though my starter has not doubled in size even after 10 hours on the kitchen table, I gave it a chance to prove itself: I followed an online recipe to the t and some hours later received my first ever proper gluten free sourdough loaf. It was a bit over fermented because I wasn't sure how to do it properly, but the texture was the best I have ever managed to produce. I'm very happy and grateful for the starter. I will be able to bake delicious sourdough bread for my gluten intolerant family members. Thank you so very much!

Great GF starter
Doubled in size the first time I fed it and made beautiful bread straight away. After a few homemade starter fails, this one is amazing! Directions are really easy to follow too :)

Growing beautifully
I purchased a packet of shelf stable Gluten Free sour dough starter.
It has been growing nicely in it's bowl, on a heat mat.
I have used this product in the past and found it makes delicious sour dough, but unfortunately due to lack of care, it died.
Can't wait for this batch to mature, so I can have my bread again
