excellent boot
I have been waiting to submit a review mainly because I don't usually leave a review, but also to try these for a few months before commenting. I primarily use these for commuting to work. I work in office environment and wear these daily. These are comfortable and no one, and I do mean no one, notices that they are actually riding boots. The walker leather has worn in well, it's just starting to get a nice "patina" from usage after a few months. Compared to others in this category, like a couple pair of TCX I have that are similar in style, these feel more substantial for protection, but that doesn't take away from the comfort or feel on the foot controls. For what its worth as a random person on the internet, I highly recommend these.
For the fit minded, I usually wear a 10-10.5 in athletic shoes depending, but in boots like Red Wings or western boots I tend to size down anywhere from a size and a half to a half size. The "depending" is the width because I have a wide foot. I got 10's in Indie Ridge and the fit is perfect. A bit of rubbing on the width at first but that quickly broke in.

Nice style, solid built-in protection, good fit, no replacement laces!
Nice looking low summer boots. Color pretty close to the website images. More rigid and protective than expected, but surprisingly easy to walk in, for short distances. The size I ordered based on their customer service recommendation (+1 compared to my dress shoes) fits pretty well. I think. All you can do when you try them on, is make sure that the width is comfortable and your toes don’t touch the front of course.. it is hard to tell how much room there is, the super rigid front caps don’t let you feel from the outside where your toes end.
So far I was not able to feel any significant ‘ventilation’ through the perforated leather, riding in the hot Florida summer. Maybe that will change once I get more used to the boots.
Only real disappointment : no replacement laces in the box. No laces sold on the website. No helpful info reg. Measurements or places / brands for ordering replacements.

500 Miles Down with The Walkers
I was looking at boots for ages, and ran across Indie Ridge a few times, but kept putting it off. I also work in an office, so I like to wear gear I can ride in, and then walk into the office and work the day job with, so these boots were the pick. I've put about 500 miles on them since I bought them. The boots fit true to size for me, I wear a 12, I bought a 12. Out of the box they were extremely comfortable, and that surprised me when I put them on.
I've since worn them on many a summer ride including a two day ride to Richmond to test ride a bunch of bikes for the channel - overall, I love the boots. I will be picking up non-ventilated boots in a few months for winter to have another pair to cycle between too. Overall, I would order them again. Great boots, quality, and I dig the company as a whole.
