Premium Leather Open Top Double Magazine Carrier

Masc double mag carrier

Leather is thick, sturdy and very nicely finished. Stitching is good and neatly done. The belt loops are properly sized. The carrier is designed to be ambidextrous, and cants the mags slightly forward and rearward from the center screws. I would prefer both mags canted in the same direction, but that would make for a more expensive item. The center screws between mags go through hard rubber spacers, which act as the dividers between mag cells, and can be adjusted for tension, which might allow a variety of double stack mags to be carried. I'm a little concerned a round might snag on one of those upon removal, since I carry both mags with bullets facing forward, but time will tell. I bought this for a SAR 2000, and the carrier works well with those magazines. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.
