New Mignon Hopper

Bought this after breaking the corner off the lid of the flimsy original hopper. The price of a new square lid was $45.00!! so I decided to go all in on this one as other reviews said it was more substantial. And it is better made and more air tight. As to the pumping action (ie. cleaning function) it does remove a little additional ground coffee but calling it a cleaning kit is a bit of an exaggeration. I don’t think that alone is worth $135. But it’s also a better hopper, it does reduce the old grounds left in the grinder and if you decided you don’t like the additional height, the lid still fits the hopper with the rubber ring removed. I’m happy with my purchase.
