I installed the top mount intercooler myself on a heavily modified 2002 Cooper S (MSD coil pack, Magnecor spark plug wires, K&N Air filter and box are in the immediate vicinity) and clearances had to be carefully checked before tighten any screw but everything went flawlessly anyway. Super tight but safe and secure. Tested for any air leak in and out, perfect. Taken for a spin and boy, oh boy... THE PULL !!! As soon as air comes into play you can feel the difference and i mean, A LOT !! So, so happy with it. Recently installed only 3 of the 4 coolant hoses (by my mechanic this time) because i hadn't the time to remove the front of the car for the last one, i will eventually. All and all there's nothing MTC Motorsport has to envy to the big names, if this is an index of their craftsmanship, job very well done!!!
