JX35 Install

Installed it myself in my 2013 JX35. Was not difficult, although I seem to be missing a cable. My car has the factory AV jacks in the arm rest, so according to the video instructions, there should have been a G-AUX Cable that has connects to the back of the factory radio. This cable allows music like spotify to play through the factory speakers while in Carplay. The cable that came with my unit, did not plug into the back of the radio, only into the carplay unit. Everything works, but I cant play music through carplay. I will be contacting support to get this cable.

Unavi- 2013 JX35

I have long wanted Apple CarPlay in my Infiniti and was pleased after searching the internet there were options to have CarPlay installed aftermarket. After reviewing many different options and providers, I landed with Unavi, and I’m glad I did. The unit was promptly sent (with tracking details), and it was a benefit there were certified installers provided on the Unavi website. I dropped my car off in the morning, and early afternoon I picked it up with CarPlay ready to go. Additionally, the USB connection cable was inconspicuously placed, so everything is hidden away. I’ve been using the CarPlay for 6 months now, and love of every minute of it. There is the occasional issue were the display pops up, but there is no audio coming out; however, after unconnecting / reconnecting the cable the audio will eventually connect. Overall, very pleased with the product!
