Love them!

I bought these because I wanted to support local boots. I have constant foot pain and read the reviews that they were comfortable. Wore them to work (12 hours on my feet) and they worked great! So happy, I bought another pair of brown #2s just for work. The quill boots are too beautiful to get dirty. Just wish there was a narrow option, I’d definitely buy more!

My favorite pair of boots

I’ve worn a lot of boots, but the Chisos No. 2 Ostrich is in a league of its own. From the moment I pulled them on, the comfort level was honestly shocking. There is usually a "break-in" tax you have to pay with high-end leather, but these felt like they were custom-molded to my feet from day one. ​The craftsmanship is top-tier, but it’s the all-day wearability that really won me over. I love them so much—and was so impressed by the comfort of the Chisos DNA—that I’ve already doubled down and picked up a pair of their Roughouts as well. ​It’s also been great connecting with the wider boot community through this brand. You can tell Chisos isn't just making footwear; they’re building a culture of people who appreciate quality that doesn't hurt your feet. If you’re on the fence about the investment, just do it.
