Multi-colored carrots

I am currently working on this sampler in a variety of oranges, purple and red, which are the carrot colors we have at our local farmers market. In a class Claudia showed us how to draw a diagonal line on the sampler to designate different color areas, which makes it easier to see the color boundaries; also, doing it in sections makes it more fun, to me at least. I also like the other reviewer's idea about the variegated orange and might incorporate that. A great summertime sampler!

I enjoy doing these sashiko samplers, both as easily portable on-the-go time fillers and in the evening to wind down from a busy day. I look forward to using the variegated orange thread on this one!
