Wow! Is that model wearing the W size 8 waders 6 feet tall?? I know I'm short - just 5' but these waders are almost as tall as I am! The shoes fit, but the top of the waders hit around my neck line...

I ordered the size 7. I always wear a size 7.5 so I was torn after reading all the reviews. I am 5'5" 135lbs. I wear waders in cold & warm weather but typically cold water. I tried on the waders with jeans and a sweatshirt and it fit perfect. I even put in the boot liners, wearing thick athletic socks and the fit too was perfect and didn't too tight. There are 2 adjustments on the straps, while they didn't tighten 100% to my shoulder it was close enough that they didn't fall off walking around.
