Really fantastic product, clear instructions, simple setup
The pet fencing we got was fantastic! We already have a 4' fence for our pool left to us from the previous homeowner, but we have no kids, so we wanted to convert to a pet fence. A little lower to the ground so that it's a little more visually pleasing, but still giving us the benefits of safety for our little dog, and to deter other critters and debris from entering the pool. The instructions were very good and thorough, and written pretty clearly. Before proceeding, I would highly recommend reading every word of the instructions and watching their videos on youtube to really understand what you're doing. When I installed mine, I took one afternoon to map out the layout of the new fence using some sidewalk chalk (I couldn't use the holes from the 4' fence, it's the wrong section width). That took maybe a couple of hours of looking and tinkering. The provided template really helped. Then, on another afternoon, I went over the layout one more time, and made some edits. Then, when I had a good chunk of time, I did all the drilling in one go. It took me about 4 hours by myself just to drill and install. HIGHLY recommend getting the drilling guide (saved my life!! made it super easy). I used my own rotary hammer drill and drill bit of the prescribed size. I also used a bucket of water with a big sponge to wipe off the dust, and a shop vac to clear dust out of the hole before putting in the sleeves. My one issue was that the provided latches were VERY VERY TIGHT. I did everything according to the given template, and it was SUPER difficult, though not impossible, to hook everything up with the given latches. I would recommend spacing your sections a teensy bit closer together and sacrifice some tension for convenience. OR, what I did, I just went to Home Depot and bought 3" safety latches and used those. If using different latches other than provided, you might also need to use some threading glue to secure the different threading. All in all, a great product and website. Their resources were fantastic. And of course, we saved hundreds if not over a thousand $$$ by doing it ourselves.
