Nice bag. Esthetically pleasing to the eye.does fit my 17 in. laptop, but it is a bit tight. I have a lenovo ideapad 17". I wouldn't say that it would be of any protection to the laptop if it were impacted in any way, but it does carry it nicely. I will most likely find something else to carry the laptop that offers more protection, and just use this pack for around town daypack.

My "go-to" bag
I have the Spartan bag, the 16L, the 45L and the 66L and I use this Sentry Sling Bag the most. From daily jiu-jitsu training to traveling and using it as my "personal item" on airplanes, this is my "go-to" bag now. Highly recommended!
