Game Changer
I started off with ATN infared night vision and progressed to Sight Mark infared digital night vision. Both scopes required an infrared 'flashlight' on dark nights to illuminate the target. I hunt in fairly heavy brush most of the time and the infared beam always caused glare from bounce back off the brush. This made it almost impossible to use. The Pulsar thermal scope eliminates all these problems. No additional light source is needed on dark nights, so no blinding bounce back. You get the same sharp image whether you use it on dark moonless nights, under a full moon or in the daytime. Trying to get it sighted in was a bit of a challenge, as paper targets do not radiate heat signatures. The thermal target that came with the scope was just so-so. A quick Google search introduced me to aluminum duct tape. That provided a target you can see through the thermal and eliminated all problems with bore sighting and sighting in. The clarity of this scope is exceptional. The controls at first seem daunting but after a shortperiodof use seem natural and easy. I have hunted for several hours at a time and have yet to have a battery go dead. It is nice that you can charge the battery in the scope, no removal necessary. I highly recommend this scope to anyone who night hunts. It's a game changer...
