Waterproof Book of Mormon

A joy and a treasure to hold and to read

This book feels great to hold, the pages are easy to grab and turn the contrast between the page and the text is just right. the pages are also thicker which hides the text on the other side a little bit better. This book is rock-solid. Let toddlers handle it, care-free. Liquids bead up and roll off and will not absorb or stain at all. Perfect for locations that are prone to high-humidity or flooding (ie. along coastal or island waters). This has easily become one of my treasured editions that I love to read.

Unstoppable

I think we forget sometimes just how fragile a physical book can be. The Book of Mormon, that is to say what is written between the covers, is a powerful thing that has brought me closer to Jesus Christ than anything else. This waterproof edition, without much exaggeration, is almost invincible, like the 2,000 stripling warriors in one of its chapters. I live in a region of reasonable weather, for the most part, but I could be reading the Book of Mormon outside and suddenly it starts to rain and I have to scramble to take it indoors or put it back in my backpack. No more is that the case! I would caution that although this edition weighs a little more than a book of the same size printed on wood based paper, the weight is not a barrier to its usage. If you have not read the Book of Mormon, this waterproof edition is as good a way to profit from the words it contains. If you have already read the Book of Mormon, I still recommend this edition. I have one at my RV trailer and have not fear that it will become mildewed or wrinkled during the winter. In short, this edition has made the Book of Mormon unstoppable.
