BMW X3/X4 | F25/F26 | 10.25"/12.3" Linux CarPlay/Android Touchscreen Display | 2010 - 2017

This product arrived on time and our installer did not have any difficulty installing it. My wife (the X3 is her car) is very happy with the Carplay function and the backup up camera works well including the movable guidelines. However, the unit does have some unanticipated limitations. 1. You cannot listen to the radio at the same time as you are using carplay or AA for navigation or whatever. (However if you are in Navigation and then switch back to radio, the nav voice instructions will still come through. Unfortunately they are extremely loud, and we haven't been able to fix this. 2. Also my wife uses iphone and I use an Android phone and there is a bit of work switching from Carplay to AA. You have to disconnect from one phone and then reconnect with the other. Fortunately, my wife doesn't listen to radio when driving, so she is happy. If this product was in my car, I'd be less happy.
