Needs modification

The ruby aphrodite dress is beautiful! It’s a bright and elegant color, and I imagine it would look amazing on anyone and suitable for a variety of occasions. However, the length of the dress needs to be addressed. I’m 5’4”, so by no means am I exceptionally tall. The size small fit perfectly on me EXCEPT for the fact that the dress stopped just above my ankles. Pay attention to the model in the pictures, notice how her ankles are NOT covered. For a floor length dress, this is a major flaw! You cannot wear heels or wedges with it (because it looks so odd to have your entire Achilles heel showing), and you definitely cannot pray in this dress. The Amariah team responded to my email quickly, but the only option was to exchange it for a size medium. The length is 1inch longer, which is somewhat better, but now the dress is no longer a perfect fit, and I have to spend more money to get it tailored. It was certainly disappointing to experience this because in other fashion retailers, the length usually is not an issue unless you need petite sizing. I hope this helps everyone when they consider purchasing dresses from Amariah.

Perfect for short people!

Ordered this dress and had a couple issues that Amariah was able to solve in a quick and efficient manner! The dress is beautiful and fits short people without any altering for length needed , which is the first time i havent had to do that (for reference, im 4'11"). V good experience
