Standard Bed Mechanism

Instructions are poorly written

I completed the build of a Queen Vertical Standard kit Murphy bed. I found the instructions confusing an incomplete. Things like a material list that includes all of the materials you have to purchase would have been nice. The finishing bed does not stay down and I have to find a way to add weight to keep it open. I honestly feel I would have been better off purchasing a ready to assemble kit. It would have been cheaper overall and less frustrating.

Horizontal twin, perfect

This was the second Create A Bed I’ve made. The last was a vertical queen which has received frequent use. As before, the directions were detailed and accurate so it all went together nicely.
