Cover is sewn onto the inner foam seat. Not great for a kid's chair that will inevitably get stained. Also material is not the softest

My granddaughter who I bought the chair for absolutely loves it she's only one year old and she loves sitting in it ran right to it and hasn't stopped jumping into it since she got it and it's best feature is the fact that you could take the cover off and wash it
