The breastplate is highly adjustable to fit snuggly or more loose, depending on your preference. I've paired it with the corset of the same series for more dexterity and freedom of movement. The snaps buttons makes it easy to put on your own and take off as needed. It also has eyelets to tie together the other pieces of the kit securely. I'm really happy with my purchase. The Epic version comes with detailed irish(or viking)-like embossing that brings my Outlanter fantasy to life.
