Checking the inseam of pants that already fit you is a good start to pick between regular and petit. Fit is good with still providing lots of room. I don't like it too tight around my hips or legs so this would be good for someone who also prefers that.

I’ve been wearing Figs since around 2018 or 2019, and I used to really love them. But the design has stayed the same while the fabric quality seems to have gotten worse. The material feels rougher, less smooth, and thinner than it used to be. It’s really disappointing, especially because the price keeps going up instead of improving with the quality.
