Love these frames but has the quality changed??

Hi V&Y, I love these frames and actually ordered them peering through the same style I got from you 2 years ago in a different color combination. I really appreciated the quality and how my current glasses have held up so well and were definitely not some cheap plastic knockoffs. The new frames I recently bought seem slightly lighter and I hope they hold up as well. Perhaps it is that they are slightly smaller in size but has the material changed over the years? Oh, and they are double the price now. I don’t mind paying for good quality so I am hoping these frames last twice as long. Thank you for curating a great collection of styles.
