I thought they were flip up sunglasses. They are not. Still a nice pair though.

I like the style, function and quality very much, however as I said about the Bryant which I also purchased they're on the small side for Men. I think my head/face is avg for a Man and these are small compared to other metal aviators I own. I would rate them perfect if they were a few mm wider and taller
