The boots look exactly as pictured. Sizing runs true to the Braddock scale: I'm officially size 8.5 and purchased size 9, and I needed the extra provided insoles to make up for the size gap. Comfort is just okay without the extra insoles, and good-but-not-great with the insoles. A little stiff at first but seems to be breaking in fairly quickly after using them a couple of days. Effective height increase is probably something like ~1.25" vs wearing normal boots.
