Great table but needs a better finish

The table is solid and stylish but comes completely unfinished - meaning you’ll have to use a fine sandpaper to smooth out the surfaces. I expected no varnish or wax finish but was surprised the wood hadn’t been properly prepped. It only took me an hour or so to do but I can’t see why the manufacturer couldn’t have done it first! Other than that, first rate table.
