Jin Jun Mei Black Tea

Sweet and fruity

Wonderful tea, unlike anything i have ever tasted before. Strong aroma that filled the whole room of dried fruit and caramel, and the taste is fantastically smooth and gentle in the same time as it's strong and intense. Feels like a dessert in a teacup.

Top quality, just not my thing

Drinking Jin Jun Mei for the first time, it's clear why it was made - the finest teabuds processed like a black tea to arrive at a sweet malty note. Teasenz offering seems top level - small leaves open up on second flush and can withstand quite a large amount of flushes in a gaiwan. It's just that while this is 5/5 tea for someone who likes this, it's 3/5 for me. I'm just not into camphor notes with black teas (Keemun also isn't my thing). However given this is all buds, the caffeine level is really high, which I do enjoy. Hence, I'm happy to have only bought this as 15g tester.

OUTSTANDING

A stunning tea! No matter if cold breeder or "normally", this one is a masterpiece :) Will definitely buy more, bc only the smell is exceptional🙏🏽
