A STAND OUT ECHINACEA!

Over the years I have tried many of the lovely new hybrid Echinaceas. Most did not survive zone 7a. HOWEVER there are a couple totally reliable options---for a shorter cone flower my pick is 'Pow Wow Wild Berry'. It has good form, bright color, about 18" to 24" high, and even survives early spring rabbit nibbles! Also a second personal choice is 'Kismet Raspberry'. For a taller work horse cone flower, Echinacea 'Magnus' maybe an old hybrid but it thrives and LIVES a long time.
