Midnight Multicolor HTPLA

The short version: Color looks great as always, filament frequently twisted around manufacturer's spool holder causing problems. The color of the filament is great and really is what brought the rating up. The roll I received was still in the old cardboard spool. When the filament was coming off the roll is had twists in it. That caused a problem with an AMS print on my Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2 where when the printer pushed the filament out to switch colors the twist wrapped the filament around the spool holder eventually causing a jam. I tried to both pre and post emptively untwist the filament for smother feeding. All that was accomplished was snapping the filament. This is the first time I've gotten a cardboard spool, and with the change to plastic spools, hopefully will be the last.

Protopasta is my fav

I print a lot of 3d pots and protopasta midnight multicolor is my all time favorite filament. The color change with the glitter looks incredible. Really like the different shades of blues and grays. I’ve looked high and low for other color changing filament and find the colors of protopasta to be a cut above the rest.

Perfect for what I needed

A very nice blend. Printed some ocean animals with this and they turned out great!
