Great Stove

Really think being made of titanium is the big plus. Have tried both alcohol and denatured alcohol. 91% alcohol is sooty. Denatured alcohol burns clean. Have a beard and mustache. Make my own grooming wax in natural color. Its clear when applied correctly. A great little stove.

Improved Design!

I'm a stove geek (I like to run with gear head, lol) I have numerous alcohol stoves, many run as backup to debris stoves like firebox, Kelly kettle, Bush Buddy(and the famous solo stove totally ripped off from them). Even Cooler than having an incredibly lightweight alcohol backup to stoves that use free readily available fuel you don't have to buy, store, or carry is having that backup offer double duty as a hexamine backup stove! I'd read old reviews about the lack of efficiency, bloom time, and excessive amount of alcohol required for operation, and even saw a video from "THE stove guy" who said it fell flat and was a disappointment to him. Maybe prior version(s) were lacking, but if so they figured it out! Thank you for another quality product Vargo :)

Great upgrade

This version is a great update to the previous stove! Easy to fill and long burn life
