Excellent Choice!
Replacement of the failing lead-acid batteries took a little longer than necessary. This is our first golf cart (new-ish Club Car Precedent bought it used about a year and a half ago). I hadn't realized before that the headlight and tail/brake lights were powered by a range of 12-48V, so the cart had no 12V accessories. Also, the cart came with a smart lead-acid battery charger so there was no on-board computer (OBC to control charging) to remove as shown on many YouTube videos. Once I figured all that out, installation went smoothly. With the new lithium battery, the cart is more responsive to throttle input. Enough, in fact, that we noticed that the motor control output regulator (MCOR, really just a throttle position sensor) had some flaky spots. An OEM replacement MCOR fixed that. So, no more lead-acid battery watering and cleaning. The weight loss program has shed about 300 pounds. It's now faster uphill. The cart is used almost daily for around .5 to 4 miles, and we charge the battery only about once a week instead of after every ride. Wife is happy, so I am happy.

2022 Club Car Onward
Epoch Battery Conversion Kit was simple to install and works great so far. Looking forward to many years of service with minimal maintenance. Can’t wait to get our 2000 Club Car DS switched over!

Golf cart battery
I got the 48 volt battery. I only used it for less than a month but next fall when I get back to Arizona I’m sure I’m going to love it. The system was fairly simple to install, very clean and system. I would use Epoch again if I ever need to.
