The Pod 1.0 Starter Kit

I had seen the previous version with the flexi tails and assumed it was going to be a doddle, but then this one turned up, and you have to connect it in line with the pipe work cold supply. This made it significantly more fiddly and I had to get extra plumbing bits and in the end had to get a 1/2" female - 1/2" female flexi to make it work. I make bespoke kitchens so am very familiar with the cramped conditions usually found under any kitchen sink, and really feel like this latest version is designed not for ease of fitting, or efficiency, but purely to cut costs at your end, no more tails supplied. Leave it to the customer to figure it out. Why not have a selection of fitting kits to choose from and hep to pick the right one?

The filter arrived quickly and was well packaged. It appears to be a good bit of kit. However, installation proved to be more onerous than the marketing would suggest, and for people without plumbing skills, this could be a challenge. Notwithstanding, this observation, the filter is successfully installed and we are very pleased with the water it provides. Saving a fortune on bottled water and no more plastic bottles.
