Professional shoes experience
I was looking for more comfortable shoes because of my rather wide feet. I never liked when side of my foot was pushing outside shoe envelope. Nike, adidas, all them fancy shoes often 100 euro a pair. There was always something that wasn't quiet right. For example Adidas Copa Mundial were comfy enough but rather heavy and outsole under heel isn't wide enough to give this extra staility (I am affraid of my ankles safety). Jomas are super comfy but after a while they get too loose. I started looking for some other options recently and went for Boa Vista Pro2. The quality of shoes is spectacular. The fit is instantaneously good. But believe me, after 2-3 sessions you will experience something unusual. It's hard to describe. I am rather aggressive on the ball and this combination of perfect but tight fit and pure speed it is like you just switched to the next gear. Unbelivable. Expensive though.
In terms of sizing just go with video of this guy Andre Caro on youtube. Measure your feet and order. Remember to take bigger of measurements. My feet are 27,1 and 27,7mm so I went for 27.5mm and this pair fits great. If you sand paper outsole just a little bit before first session (few good rubs) you will unlock extra grip from starters.
