Celestial Nylon Spandex Swimsuit Fabric

Beautiful fabric

I finally sewed a swimsuit! (Never thought that would happen). Using tried and true sports bra and underwear patterns (with minor modifications) and this beautiful fabric, I sewed a two piece swimsuit that I really like. Anyone who sees the photos tells me they love the print, and it really is beautiful. I also used recycled white swimwear lining and swim bra cups from The Fabric Fairy. Super pleased. The fabric was very easy to work with. I used stretch needles and my regular sewing machine for almost the entire construction. I used my serger for the final seams around the top/bra band and the waistband on the bottoms.
