Lichicx Raw Silent Switches

Nice switches

I got the big bump variant of these switches. They feel really nice with the bump right at the start and a firm bottom out that doesn’t feel mushy. They sound good too, like the sound was attenuated and sent through a low pass filter. I like their feel and sound better than the boba u4 silent 65g. Only negative is that I’ve had a 2-3% failure rate out of the box. The ones that failed were basically stuck/nearly stuck in the on position and were sending spurious key stokes either all the time or when the keycap was touched or when nearby keys were used. But at $0.48 per switch I suppose the worse QA is acceptable, given that the bobas cost $0.67 each.

Great silent tactile switches

I replaced the Boba switches I had on my daily driver with these and am extremely satisfied. The (big bump) tactility is satisfying with a light bounce, and they are nice and quiet as well. If (like me) you are a fan of the Durock Silent Shrimps, I highly recommend these as an alternative - I didn't experience any scratchiness or ping with the Lichicx switches.
