those black cats all look alike otherwise

I live somewhat rural...lots of stray animals...cats...I like cats...so I feed strays..one thing leads to another...I have now fostered many many litters and even though I find homes for most...I got 12 here now living with me... I got them all fixed...however 7 are black and look alike...and they hate those collars ad they 'lose them' as fast as I put them onto them....so, I now mark their foreheads and voila.....White, Orange, Blue, Green, Red, I can tell who is who real easy...
