I bought this Panda Drum for my 16 year old granddaughter and she loves it! Her parents really enjoy playing it too! It's soothing and calming. One thing my granddaughter does with her parents is trying to repeat the order of tones her parents play so she's learning and using many areas of her brain. Definitely a win-win with the Panda Drum!

I haven’t given it my grandson yet since it is a Christmas present. I did order a beginner’s book that was in D Major as specified by the model I purchased. It looks much easier for a child to learn by.. I also added number stickers of black for notes below the staff and white for notes on and above the staff so he can read the music and know below the staff is the dirt, above and in the staff is the clouds. I have had a ball trying it out. He plays regular drums so I know he will love this. He is six.
Thank you for introducing this. I imagine his parents will handle the beautiful sounds better than the real drums. 😂

I ordered this for my nephew who is 7 years old. He loves it and he used it as soon as he got home from school the day it arrived.
