Should have purchased this sooner.

After spending a small fortune installing a Lewmar V700 windlass, I thought that I could save a few dollars by buying cheap rope and chain from somewhere else and make my own anchor rode. Big mistake. The windlass never really liked the rope and it sometimes struggled to properly engage the rode. After only 3 seasons, the windlass finally shredded the cheap rope and jammed the Lewmar. The windlass pulls the Five Oceans Rode effortlessly. The splice is tight and transitions perfectly to the chain. There are no disappointments. Lastly, Five Oceans went the extra mile by printing a Google Map of our address. They taped it to the box to assist the U*S driver. U*S somehow still managed to delay the delivery, but clearly it was not for the lack of effort and attention to detail by Five Oceans.
