We purchased this dress for my daughter's 8th grade moving up ceremony. She needed something with a high back due to a recent surgery/scar and this fit the bill. The material makes the relaxed fit a little dressier. As someone who is inbetween -- she wants to look more grownup given her age, but is still physically quite small this fit the bill.
