Playing Kit for Vancouver 7s

Our playing gear came on schedule for the big Kamloops 7s Tourney and our u-14 Girls looked great claiming their first Championship in Kamloops, BC.

What’s with the collar??

The collar no longer lays flat after 3 days worn. Tried to use a low heat iron on it but that had no effect. I’m concerned I might make things worse if I use higher heat. Is this normal? I can’t believe this is normal. What do I do to prevent it? How do I fix this?
