I purchased this adapter to allow me to connect two Goal Zero 100w solar panels and a 4-into-1 combiner to charge my National Luna DC-40 power pack. Making the transition from Mini Anderson to SB50 was the critical factor in allowing me to route solar generated power to support charging.
