Beautiful, but design flaw?

This sink is indeed beautiful and I couldn’t wait to see it in my new house, however, as the builder templated it into the cabinet for countertop placement, they showed that the drain came within an inch of the cabinet face and would preclude install of a garbage disposal because cabinet doors would not be able to close. This is disappointing after already experiencing build delays, and I hope to work something with FossilBlu to exchange for the flat front sink, which my builder said would set the sink back 5 inches if he reads the spec sheets correctly. I don’t see any other issues in customer reviews, so I am hoping that when FB answers the phone, they may have a solution for the current sink. Fingers crossed!
