Lack of pockets, kind of thin material

I previously ordered Figs a few years ago and loved the material and fit. Unfortunately the material’s gotten thinner with time and I don’t understand scrub pants that don’t have side pockets. Is this for style over substance? Overall the fit is fine compared to other scrubs but functionality is not the best.

Petite sizes are a good send, it's hard to find petite scrubs for the shirt and pants.
