An Old Man and A Bumper
I took pictures of the box when it arrived, for it looked as if FedEX drug it behind the truck. Fortunately, it was in tack and not scratched up. Attaching the tow hooks and LED light bar was a challenge. I have smaller hands and it was still difficult to complete. The feet for the light bar are not the correct angle to fit flush on the top of the bumper. The inside hole on each foot sticks up about 1/4” . Also, the instructions call for a 14mm deep socket, and that is wrong, an 18mm is required. A good tip ,when placing the bumper in place, is to only secure the single bolt plate(part “a”) on each side. This is done in Step #4. Once they are lined up with the hole, get the flat washer and lock washer and bolt loosely secured. That will hold the bumper in place while putting the double bolt plates (parts “a" ) through the holes to finished installation. The double bolt plates can easily be placed by reaching them through the winch opening. Concerning the wiring, there were no instructions at all in the box. I kind of figured it out, but opted to have my local Napa dealer complete that phase. The bumper looks great on my Bronco!
