Perhaps not a mandatory item for the "small projects" workbench, but a very cool tool to have. Multiple impact pads allow for pretty much all of the situations that one would use a hammer of this size. Whether tapping in a front site or applying "a little more" persuasion to bolt and bracket that does not align just right, this hammer is useful.
