Too long

I owned a Fleck telescoping whip for at least 20 years and was excited to get this more affordable option as a replacement, This whip is way too long! I wish I had read the description a bit closer, I would have maybe rethought my purchase. The whip itself does work, it just takes rethinking how to hold and use it.
