AOS RC V5 O4 Frame Kit - AOS 5"

Pretty nice 5" frame

Designed to be compact & sturdy yet roomy enough for all the electronics except the capacitor and any RX antenna. No provision was made for those necessities The camera cage is notable for it's ease of disassembly to use the different options and the light overall weight I liked.

Great frame performance, but not as user friendly as claimed

The quality and durability of the frame have been great so far, even after a couple of crashes. In terms of flight performance, this design does seem superior to competitors. However, when it comes to the building process, the design leaves much to be desired. The instruction sheet is just an exploded view of every component/screw and is hardly legible in certain areas. The provided stack screws are pretty short, almost too short for a speedybee f405 stack. It was a pain to get the xt60 connector to come out of the front like the design intended. With a battery connected, an attached Gopro cannot be angled very much without interfering with the battery xt60 wires. Lastly, the camera cage is placed so far forward that the wire included with my analog camera was just barely long enough. If you have an O3 air unit, you will need to buy a longer camera cable.
