Absolutely Delightful

What a lush experience this was! The writing was fun and witty and carried the setting wonderfully - very evocative at times, carrying the mystery and menace of places just perfectly when it needed to, and very cheeky when it called for levity -, the characters delightful, and it was deeply satisfying to see the story logic unfurl and to chase down all the bits and details in the setting. The props and evidence were well-utilized, and I liked how the book formats gave the mystery so much room to spread its wings. We took our time on this and spent much longer than 8 hours sniffing around London, and had such a good time I'm almost sad it's done and over with!
