Winter Lady Parka (Olive)

Almost perfect!

I'm giving it 5 stars because I love it. Plus a few suggestions for refining the design. The good: dang, it's warm!! I wasn't sure about the warmth of this jacket as there isn't much info on the website and the pictures show people wearing it with green leaves on bushes and trees. I figured I'd get a coat that wouldn't be that warm, but I was wrong. It is truly a heavy-duty dog-walking coat. If you get warm, you aren't going to put this in your backpack or tie it around your waste. It is meant to go on and stay on. The suggestions: I'm 5'3", 115 lbs, and a XS is a bit too large. I'm surprised, as I don't usually wear a women's XS. The sleeves are very long, which is probably good for a lot of people, but at my size it interferes with my gloves (presumably you're wearing large warm gloves if you're wearing this jacket) in that the cuffs of the gloves need to be very large to go over the cuffs of the jacket. Hopefully that makes sense. The other main design suggestion that I have is that the primary front pockets that you enter from the side need to be higher. These are nice soft lined pockets that I really want to put my hands into, yet I cannot reach them! My hands hang at the pocket entrance. I've never had a pocket location problem in the dozens of jackets that I've owned, so really, I don't think I have abnormally short arms. My final suggestion is for the treat pocket and liner. I totally love the idea and honestly that is the main reason why I purchased this jacket, my other jackets are disgusting from treats. I like that it snaps in, but it needs to snap on all sides, not just two. It also needs to be able to be switched out to the right side. The right side is a lot easier for me to use, and I want to be able to have the treat pocket (with liner) there. The main point is that when you're wearing this coat, it is super duper cold out, like <<20F. At those temps, you usually aren't able to function with treats too well, so anything to make it easier is much appreciated. Regardless, I like the jacket and wear it all the time for my windy cold dog walks. It's fantastic; make these suggestions and it'll be super duper awesome!
