SUN Noise Gate Guitar Pedal

Bought This for death metal mostly.

Noise gates. It’s a love / hate relationship. Feedback is cool. Why would I want to stop that? Well, in the quest for high gain chugging and using pedals and amps that introduce all kinds of unwanted noise, I eventually wanted control over that. I’ve messed around with a bunch of them. Tried the zuul and the decimator. Tried in the loop, first in the chain, last, key’d input, 4CM, etc. Never really satisfied. Always choked and not responsive. Queue guptech. Simple control with straight forward operation. Flexibility for how you use it. Looking forward to spending more time with it. It’s awesome! As someone who plays Floyd rose guitars, you almost always run into an issue where a gate will choke the end of a divebomb and this gate is sensitive and flexible enough to let all of that come thru without the noise.
