Blizzard Blanket

Not done yet but easy to follow

I started this blanket 2 weeks ago, and so far I'm finding the instructions easy to follow. I really liked that I could select my own colors for this project, so I could match it more to the recipient's decor while still keeping it neutral in case they make a change.

I don't normally buy kits but I really liked the snowflake pattern. Typically the yarn in kits isn't top of the line. We get what we pay for. I gave this a 3 because the grey yarn was substituted with another brand and didn't match the white. It wasn't quite the same thickness which was a visual problem when crocheting over the white. It showed through to much. I love the pattern, but it looks sloppy because the yarns don't match ☹️

This pattern is quite nice…my first attempt at something like this. The only thing is, they don’t say if it should be made tapestry style or fair isle. That could make a difference as far as quantity of yarn used.
